When parents schedule a pass through the Secure Parent Link, you now decide when it activates, automatically at the scheduled start time, or only once the student checks out in person.

What's New

A new setting puts activation in your hands. Keep it on and passes activate automatically at their scheduled start time. Switch it off and a pass stays inactive until the student physically checks out at a kiosk, so the times on record reflect when they actually left and returned.

Why It Matters

If your school tracks real comings and goings rather than planned times, you can now capture exactly when a student departed and came back. That keeps your attendance records accurate and your pass times true to what actually happened, without changing anything for schools that prefer automatic activation.

Next Steps

1. Open your pass settings

2. Find the Automatically activate at start time option

3. Leave it on to keep automatic activation, or switch it off to require an in-person check-out
