Taking class attendance on Android just got smoother. My Schedule is now available as a default tab on mobile, a confirmation appears when you save a roll, and the app opens straight to your current class.

What's New

Staff can now set My Schedule as their default tab on Android — the option is now properly visible on mobile. When My Schedule is your default, the app opens directly to the class scheduled for the current time. A success notification appears when a class roll is saved, so you know your changes went through. You can also configure rolls to default all students to Present when opening a class.

Why It Matters

Taking attendance between classes is faster when the app opens right where you need it — your current class, ready to go. The save confirmation removes any doubt that your roll submitted successfully.

Next Steps

1. Open the Orah staff app on Android

2. Tap the three-dot menu next to My Schedule and select Set as default tab

3. Optionally, update your roll settings to default all students to Present when opening a roll

No other changes needed — the save confirmation appears automatically.
