add guardrails for date/time entry

What problem would this new feature help your school solve?
Sometimes we make a mistake when entering a time - often this is around am and pm. We would like for a check to be in place and a message that says the time you have entered is not during school hours. For example, so that 1 am is never an acceptable early dismissal time.

Times are entered incorrectly which messes up class attendance records.
Please list any other tools or platforms that you know of that offer similar functionality.
Many other tools have validation on dates/times
