alert that triggers on a time basis for all students that meet the criteria

What problem would this new feature help your school solve?
Instead of receiving 50 emails about an issue, we would prefer to receive 1 email alert with a report we can view that lists the 50 students. We have a variety of users that for different reasons need to track students who have been absent consecutively for various numbers of days. Ex: the school nurse phones home to students who have been sick 2 days in a row; the deans check in about managing the workload for students who have been absent for 3 days in a row, the assistant head monitors for lengthy absences. The attendance manager follows up with anyone who was marked absent in the first class to make sure they are safe. These are high volume events that aren't managed well as individual alerts.

Describe the impact on your school if this problem remains unsolved?
We are having a very hard time tracking consecutive absences. We are a high touch school and students are falling through the cracks of this process.
Please list any other tools or platforms that you know of that offer similar functionality.
Veracross - except the data isn't coming into Veracross correctly so our previous queries for this are broken
