What problem would this new feature help your school solve?

Students who can't scan in at a tile for some reason (they have a Samsung phone and it doesn't work or they don't have their phone with them) will indicate to a faculty member that they are here but can't scan in. More frequently, a kid has a pass and is excused, especially an event pass that doesn't automatically excuse them from an automatic roll. If staff changes location to the location of the roll, it will end their event pass, and we don't want to do that.

It makes us look like we don't know what we're doing. Kids who did everything right and have a pass to be away from school are marked absent from the roll we don't expect them at.
