Automated Event Conflict Prevention

Prevent students from double-booking themselves by automatically blocking sign-ups for Events that overlap in time with an Event they have already registered for.

Prevent the students from signing up for multiple events that overlap.

Someone has to manually cross-reference multiple events (20 or more Events) every week that occur on the weekend to prevent Unexcused Absences from Events, signing up for an Event that a student can not attend and wasted money on Admission for paid Events.
Please list any other tools or platforms that you know of that offer similar functionality.
