Events Changelog

A read-only Changelog tab on every event showing what changed, when, and who changed it — event field edits, student list and status changes, rolls taken, and automated waitlist moves.

What problem would this new feature help your school solve?
Events get edited repeatedly by different staff — submission times shift, students get added or removed, statuses change, rolls get taken. There's no record of any of it inside the event, so when someone asks why a student came off an event or who moved a deadline, we have to reconstruct it from memory and emails. We need a per-event history showing the date, a plain-language description of each change, and who made it — including changes the system makes automatically, like a student moving off the waitlist.

Describe the impact on your school if this problem remains unsolved?
Nobody can answer basic accountability questions about an event. Handovers between staff lose context, disagreements about who changed what can't be settled, and if a parent or leadership queries a student's involvement in an event we have no evidence trail to point to. For duty of care, being unable to show who removed a student from an event and when is a real gap.
