Make Events Automatically Trigger Excused Absences for Automatic Rolls

What problem would this new feature help your school solve?
At the moment, Events can’t be mapped to attendance/excused statuses, which is why students on a Winter Break Event aren’t being counted as excused. This is a current limitation of Events. A Temporary workaround must be used instead: To excuse students during Winter Break, we recommend creating a Winter Break Attendance Pass with these settings: Pass rules Automatically activate at start time — ON Automatically end when student location changes — OFF Automatically end when another pass is activated — OFF Automatically end at end time — ON How to use it For existing students already on the Event: Activate the Attendance Pass → this will temporarily end the Event → then re-activate the Event. For new students: Activate the Attendance Pass first, then activate the Event. This involves some duplicate steps and isn’t ideal.
