No Default Date for Orah Passes

Hi,

I have had multiple Orah passes created for the wrong date. It means I have approved them for the wrong day and then when the student is absent I am emailing parents about it.

Could you please remove a date from appearing? Right now it is set to the date that you create the pass. If it was left blank but a required input, it would prompt parents to put the CORRECT date in.

EXAMPLE:

A parent opens Orah TODAY but wants the pass for Monday. They fill in all the blank information and because the date is already there, they don’t see it as blank. They don’t change the date. I approve the pass for TODAY and not Monday. Monday comes and the student is absent unexcused. I email parents and they say something like: (this is a direct quote from a parent with names changed) “I was told by Lyla (student) that Michelle (mom) had already alerted the school about this. If that's not the case, apologies! Thanks for checking.”
