Only attendance reminder for first class of day

What problem would this new feature help your school solve?
Some of our grades only take attendance for the first class of the day. We are on a rotating block schedule, so which class this is varies by the day. Our teachers were receiving attendance reminder emails for every class, even though they shouldn't take attendance in those classes.
How often does this problem happen?

Describe the impact on your school if this problem remains unsolved?
We had to turn the attendance reminders off and have to manually review and remind teachers to take attendnace.
