Open API Enhancement: Expose Existing Attendance Reason Codes and Internal System IDs

We request an enhancement to the Orah Open API to expose existing attendance reason codes and their internal system IDs. This functionality is crucial for workflows involving attendance and reason mapping integrations.

Specific Use Case: We need to be able to reference our existing custom attendance reason codes, such as NE-PRES (Not Expected - School Programming), via the API. This is necessary for external systems to correctly map and reference attendance data based on the specific reason code's unique identifier.

Context from Support:

• We confirmed that the current Open API does not expose attendance reasons, even though internal system IDs exist for these reasons.

• It was suggested that this should be submitted as a broader API enhancement request to track demand and prioritize improvements for attendance/reason mapping integrations.

Desired Outcome: A mechanism to retrieve and reference the internal API identifier for existing attendance reason codes, allowing for robust attendance integration workflows.
