Usability Improvement

We've resolved an issue where student schedules weren't updating in Orah on the same day the change was made in your SIS.
Previously, when a student was added to or removed from a class, Orah applied that change to future schedules only. Today's class rolls kept the roster they were created with, even after a successful sync, so a teacher could open a roll that was missing a newly enrolled student or still listing one who had left. This was most disruptive during add/drop periods, and the only workaround was to discard the roll and let Orah rebuild it.
A new setting, Apply enrollment changes to today's schedules whose rolls have not started, changes this. When it is on, enrollment changes apply to all future schedules and to any of today's schedules whose roll has not started yet. Rolls that have already started or been completed are never rewritten, so attendance your staff has already taken stays exactly as they left it.
Available for Blackbaud, Veracross, FACTS, Synergetic and TASS.
Go to Admin Console and open Data Integration.
Open the SIS integration you want, for example Blackbaud.
Click Schedule.
Tick Apply enrollment changes to today's schedules whose rolls have not started.
Click Save.
Run a Groups and Schedules sync, or wait for the next scheduled sync to run.
Newly connected integrations have this on by default. Existing integrations stay off until an admin turns it on and saves, so nothing changes for a school until they choose it.
Started and completed rolls are locked. If a class has already begun or attendance has been taken, its roster will not change. Those classes still update from the next day onward.
When the setting is off, enrollment changes continue to apply from tomorrow onward, exactly as before.
Recommended during add/drop periods.
